The School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHT) of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (P.PORTO) welcomed a lecturer doing a staff mobility under the bilateral Erasmus program agreement with Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Croatia (HR PULA01) from 23rd to 27th September 2021.
On 23rd September Dr. sc. Sunčana Tuksar presented the project entitled “Many Languages of Communication”, which analyses various texts investigating experience in respect to language, communication and culture. It provides a clear scientific contribution: the production of narratives is further explored, relying on different types of texts, which carry distinctive features: stylistic, structural, as well as cognitive-cultural ones. English as a lingua franca provides for corpus material, which constructs a conceptual framework of cultural identity.
This visit strengthened the cooperation between both Institutions.
